The choice of these beads was inspired by the film, The Passion of the Christ, and call to mind the scourging Christ endured for our salvation at the hands of Roman soldiers.   The meditation beads are 15mm pressed glass, with a metallic aurora finish reminiscent of armor.  The small beads are 8mm vintage pressed glass, swirling with shades of blood red.  The magnificent 3.5" crucifix is exquisitely detailed, cast in bronze, from the Abbey of Maria Laach.  It illustrates the original sins of Adam and Eve, and the final moments of the crucifixion when Christ's side has been pierced.  Suitable for rugged hands.
