These "chocolates" won't melt in your hand, however; they
are glass beads!
Chocolate is consistently identified among our favorite
"benign" habits. But how many of us will identify the rosary as a favorite
habit? I'm hoping that this rosary will remind you, whenever you feel the urge to overindulge
your chocolate habit, to indulge your rosary habit instead ... nourish your spirit!

This one-of-a-kind rosary is made from handmade lampwork and vintage
pressed glass. The Paters are 25mm custom lampwork by Cheryl at
Dragon Beads
( kiln-annealed for durability). The Aves are also 9mm vintage glass beads, in a delicious
caramel/toffee/chocolate swirl. The rosary is joined with a bronze Assumption centerpiece, and
Risen Christ crucifix, both cast from antiques.

centerpiece and Radiant crucifix. Flower jade speaks of spring blossoms in 8mm facetted
rondelles. Richly carved flower jade, in vermeil capped 15mm rounds, is an exquisite
match. The centerpiece and stunning 2" crucifix are cast from vintage pieces in

Recently some one wrote to ask whether I knew anything about
rosaries made with coffee beans! I hadn't, so I posed the query to my on-line rosary-makers
groups ... Yes, there is such a thing!!!!
Just a few days later, I found these vintage pressed glass beads
shaped like coffee beans ... and the café au lait beads appeared within the week. I
couldn't resist!
Coffee is consistently identified among our favorite
"benign" habits. But how many of us will identify the rosary as a favorite
habit? I'm hoping that this rosary will remind you, whenever you indulge your coffee (or tea)
habit, to develop your rosary habit as well.

The Aves are 10mm coffee-colored bean-shaped ovals, and the Paters are 12mm ovals swirling with
coffee and cream. The rose centerpiece and crucifix are made of bronze.

Rosary for a Rugged Soul

This substantial rosary was made for large, rugged hands.
|
|
|
|
The 9mm Rudraksha seeds used for the Aves make their presence felt, and invite
the challenge of being worn smooth through prayerful devotion. They are accompanied by 16mm
Paters of intricately carved horn.
The crucifix is cast from an antique (1840s) that originated in Greece, and
features icon images of Christ crucified, Madonna and Child, accompanied by saints.
